​When we bought The Old Cherry Orchard 11 years ago we didn't know we had also bought an ancient bluebell woodland.  The whole area was covered with nettle, bramble and bracken. 

 

After three years of clearing the area by hand, we had created a magical world where vibrant bluebells blanket the woodland floor, a carpet of blue that stretches as far as the eye can see and continues to grow and spread each year. 

 

We have created a selection pathways so that the views are different for each of your shots.  Along with a fallen tree to sit on and ceramic fairy doors for little ones to spot.  We also have an amazing bug hotel.

Parking is right in front of the woodland and easy to navigate for all ages.
